Last night whilst I was taking my nap in my call room, pager went off!
Jumped up and someone who sounded very Asian on the phone went:
'We have a patient for you up in 8.2. Would you like to see him?'
Sure, I groggily mumbled--- despite feeling the strong magnetic pull of the inviting bed.
Then all of a sudden, he said 'It's Wei Jin la'
Blooody idiot.LoL.
Sleeping nicely and got kacau-ed.
Turns out Kien Ji said to drop by and say HI.
That was awfully nice of them to come by. Even nicer to have company whilst you're in the hospital. Muchos Gracias :)
Tonight, we had Dinner @ an Ethiopian restaurant as Eugenia will be leaving tmr to Sydney!
She belanja-ed all of us, which was super big-hearted of her, thank U for dinner :)
Poor girl has accumulated so much stuff over the year, I have absolutely no idea how to help out LoL. But Kien Ji and I were happily on the receiving end when Eugenia goes 'Eh, does anybody want this ---Nah!' ;P
ANyway, have fun in Australia babes- I'm sure you will.
Oh yes.

A day in the life of a medical clerk in Cardiology:Thursday morning-Start reading patient's charts at 7.15am in the hospital...
Declared a patient dead, spoke to the family and then completed the death certificate...
Round on patients, admit a new one in the evening, get paged at night whilst on callSlept for roughly 4 hours, not consecutively though ........ morning routine starts again and goes on tilFriday afternoon-At 3 pm, finally finished discharge paperwork for 2 patients who are going home this weekend.Walk home and throw my medical schoolbag onto my room floor and kick off my hosp shoes at 3.30pmRoom sweet Room.SleeeeeeeeeeeeeP.

Won't be blogging for a bit methinks.Started Cardiology today.Went really well... hehe got praised on my first day from my staff.Only downside is I have to be there by 7am every morning, and I am soo not an early morning person... Ta! :)

A special shout-out to Sam for celebrating her 23rd birthday :)I hope you enjoyed dinner. I did although the food is still up to my neck... I'm staying off fries for the next whole week ;) Looking forward to our Halloween dress-up night :)This morning:-It was pouring.But I really wanted to head to Farmer's markets for their fresh fruits and pastries :) And I did, I wore my mum's giganto big huge sweater which is older than I am and it covered me from neck to mid-thigh and a pair of black leggings and braved the cold rain.I quite enjoyed walking in the rain, with fresh raindrops falling down onto you. Felt very much like how when you were young and you'd jump into a wet puddle or when you see crispy leaves on the ground and you can't resist stepping on them.Indulged myself in an almond paste croissant which I had the cravings for.
So far I have tried the waffle with homemade blueberry jam. Cinnamon bun with vanilla icing. And my almond paste croissant. Next on is my crepe waiting for me- next week... ;)
The walk back home was crazy! The wind almost blew me away so many times. My body was bent forward trying to resist the wind but my legs were plastered onto the ground just trying to stay standing.
Had a wonderful dinner with Sam who really needs to work on her directions, lol.
Then again, I'm no better ;) That walk did us good eh, babes? ;)
P.S. Kevin,thanks for that political video.My mum enjoyed it.
