I have amazing friends at work. We tease, laugh at each other, with each other- but they're always there.

Offering their ear. their time. their heart. I have an amazing bunch of friends. And I cannot be more lucky.

-On a funny note, yesterday I wore a black blazer to work- and kept it on, so Dr Manning asked me

"You're seriously wearing that at work?"

I said 'Yes. It makes me look more mature, Dr Manning.'

He laughs and exclaims 'Yeah, it makes you LOOK at least 21'

I stared at him, and laughed. Then, the workroom breaks out into laughter as well. *bah*

THe other night, after Ayesha's birthday, I went out with Kenny, Neil and Amit. I quote them 'you're out with us for the first time in 1.5 years!!' and I laughed :)

After Loft 610 closed, a girl approached me- and just casually striked up a conversation. Then she told me 'her boyfriend was a rapper, they were going to a house party..' etc... then, she asked me 'Do you want to roll?'

I said No. But I thought that was a weird question because it had a tone to it. Anyway, I said no- and pointed to Kenny, and said 'He might want to'.

So I quickly walked over to him and whispered into his ear. He held me close- and the girl approached us. Then, she asked him. He looked at her for awhile, she then asked him again, but this time she was uneasy...

Kenny replied 'It's cool. We're clean'. She was uncomfortable by this time, and asked for my number or asked for us to exchange our numbers. I didn't give, and Kenny continued staring at her. She finally left. Then, he told me 'Sueyi, "roll" means ECSTASY"' --- I went WHAT?! That was learning # 1 for that night.

Oh brother.

Dr Venu and Dr Leslie have been the absolute best mentors one can have.

I can only say how lucky I am to have their support. I am blessed.

On a good note, today- went to catch Harry Potter with Roselyn and Fareed- went nuts taking photos in this new place where they are aiming to construct a huge shopping mall, with restaurants and a big cinema in one center- it was a really pretty place! Then, went over to Magnificent Mile to capture a glimpse of the gorgeous lights. And then, had dinner at Grami's. And jiggy-ed a bit on the dance floor- Roselyn and I.

=) All three of us have to work tomorrow. *boo* Oh well!

Roselyn said to me 'Sueyi, you know people will come if they know its for you'- when I asked her about something... and inside, I felt a super warm awww... :) so sweet :)

AND Harry Potter was amazing!
