A friend came over last night, and talked to me. He reminded me of my worth. my values. my principles. People like him don't come by everyday into your life. I thank god I've such an amazing honest friend to keep me grounded, and keep me from falling on my feet again. To remind me of reality, and how we are so easily swayed by our hearts-when our minds are unable to hold tight onto our heart strings. I'm whole. Thanks for the guidance. On another note; a Peruvian dinner night out with my two lovely girls: Christine and Ayesha. We were surprisingly high and happy the entire night, laughing away. Singing in the car. Struggling to find a parking spot just so Ayesha can see my new place *laughs*. Always nice catching up. My wonderful girlfriends :)

A second visitor from NYC dropped by this weekend. That makes 2 in a row :) They came to pick me up, and then, we were on our way to Northwestern campus :)And enjoyed the American Craft Expo. Followed by a tour of the pretty campus, enjoying the scenic view of the lake... and some major photo-snapping. Off to frozen yoghurt at Berry Chill. And Vietnamese pho at Argyle :) Max said one thing today which I agree with: "I believe it's really important for us to find someone who really loves us. Not someone who wows you in the beginning, but doesn't really care for you" The wow factor fades with time, but what really stays is the love they have for you. Then Max said something along the lines of, 'Sueyi is like my little sister. I want the best for her.'I replied 'Aww.. thanks Max. I know you always keep your eyes out for me' =) *so sweet* :)
--- Addendum: Yesterdays' events were extremely fun-filled! Brunch at MeliCafe, followed by checking out the Greek food festival at Greektown. Then, off to TallShips festival at Navy Pier. Then, to ChaiLing's place to enjoy AC :) (it was terribly hot and humid!) And off to Millenium Park for the dance show, and a picnic :)
Off to get drinks and hang out at Aqua's rootftop :) and an alcohol-fuelled night of fun and laughter and some retardedness ;)
