*laughs*I love being at home. Constantly surrounded by all my loving sisters. We share a bond so close. I love the moments when we four are sitting together; just laughing raucously; creating so much racket and noise in our home.We just finished watching Twilight cos I wanted to watch it again. *laughs* Well; the first time I watched it with the two youngest monkeys; they spoiled it for me; since they intercepted and I couldn't hear half the dialogue going on. And they foiled my favourite part! :(After today's movie; I couldn't help admiring the male protagonist *laughs* (Yes yes; like the little teenagers!) His eyes were super deep-set la!Syu-Syu teased me in her little acting high-pitched tone 'NOOOO JIE; don't be fooled. You only like his character!' and traipses around the room.*laughs*I love being home.

I was browsing through Syu-Syu's (baby sister) laptop and found this piece of journalism article she wrote on me slightly more than a year ago for her English class project =)Interview – My eldest sister =D
Lai Sueyi, or as I call her ‘Jie-jie’ is my eldest sister. Education plays an important role in her life, but no matter what the situation, she has always stayed true to her heart and morals. At the top of her list, family comes first before her studies. She has studied in Perth, Australia and is currently pursuing medical school in Canada. Having been born into a middle-class close-knit Chinese family, she has been instilled with strong family values and filial piety. She has excelled in all of her examinations, scoring a 99.15% for her pre-university exam and a 99% for another major exam, USMLE – United States Medical Licensing Exam. More importantly, she is an all-rounder, being very active in her community as she was once elected to be President for an AIDs organization and was a trained peer educator in Malaysian AIDS Council. To most people’s surprise, she is only 20 years old and is at her last year before completing her medical studies. Clearly, she aspires to be a doctor – or perhaps more?

What's that game called? Where you whisper a message into someone's ear; and this goes on with a chain of people behind you... And finally the last person goes back up to the first person and conveys the message; which ultimately ends up ENTIRELY DIFFERENT. And it usually ends up really hilarious cos' the meaning of the message is totally miscontructed ;)Well; we had one of our very own incidental accident with that in the TV room tonight ;)My arms were around Sze-Sze and we were both fooling around; when mum called out to us in the midst of rough-housing explaining what was going on on the TV documentary they were watching; "They really take care of the dogs"I exclaimed whilst laughing with Sze-Sze "They kill the dogs??!" repeating what I thought mum had just said....Then, next thing I knew, Syu-Syu about to step into our room; shouted "WHO DIED??"And we all started laughing; at how unbelievably changed the responses were from one misheard statement...Maybe it doesn't sound so funny here... but we were all laughing noisily. Maybe we were just high and happy from fooling around during dinner time.Baby (Syu-SYu) said this to me; whilst pushing me away from her lap (I was sitting on her lap; playing horsey-horsey ;P) "JIE,go away! You're such a KID!" and laughed at how silly I was.P.S. Syu; this is to let the whole world know how you pronounce Pennsylvania.'Jie, is Chicago close to Pennis-vania?'I burst out loudly.

"Paging for a doctor onboard!! There is an emergency. Dr ? "Pat the Hakka lao says if they call upon you; you answer :"Sorry. I'm a psychiatrist doctor. I can't help you guys out... The best I can do is get everyone to pray!" *laughs* I met up with the Hakka lao today who says I will only embarass him through this blog post; but I promised not to be too unkind :p *laughs*My Hakka senior in IMU; we met up for lunch today. 1. Got lost to MidValley from IMU.2. Ran out from a restaurant (no, NO- we hadn't ordered yet) ;) We just had a change of mind after sitting down and going through the menu! ;) So he said; just casually walk out; and he'll pretend to walk out answering his handphone *so malu I thought at first; but come to think of it; there was nothing embarassing about it!* Still; I'm glad I had company to do that- or else I wouldn't have been courageous enough to pull it off.3. Went to eat in Madam Kwan's where I swear I've never met a guy who ate at a record time like him. The waiter and waitress oveseeing our table (after collecting my plate) came at least 5 times waiting to collect his!! *laughs* We were having fun saying 'Oh; our friend (the waiter) is here again!' Finally; he didn't touch his piece of curry chicken and only walloped the drumstick. I absolutely loved the banana fritters with ice-cream! I think he's got a smaller tummy than me lah -.-' *meng koi sai* =)4. Couldn't find our parking. Went to three different floors before we decided to ask information and realised we went the opposite direction (up instead of downstairs) -.-' 5. Went to Leisure Mall to get my webcam. Luckily he was there; boy; does he have skills in bargaining. His trick? To call the salesboy 'Leng chai' :P hehehehehehe 6. Went on complaining about his hair -.-' He's going to draw his sideburns (which were unintentionally shaved off) with a black marker *hahahahahahaha* SORRRYYYY P.T ;)Hakka buddy; you made my day. Sorry I laughed at you so much; I had a great time lah! ;) Don't worry so much about your match and please SIT TOR DIT!! =)

I think I need to take a breather and realise what I'm doing. It's been awhile since I got back in touch with my inner self; that self that is fiery with aspirations and dreams to be the best I can be. It's time I slowly pull away from the holiday mode that I've been in for the past 2 months and work on gaining back all my knowledge and skills; that I'm certain just needs a little bit of revision and fine-tuning ;)Just as Grays' Anatomy says"The body is a slave to its impulses. But the thing that makes us human is what we can control. After the storm, after the rush, after the heat of the moment has passed, we can cool off and clean up the messes we made. We can try to let go of what was." ;) That's more than what I was aiming for; but what the heck ;) I love their quotes.Just got in touch with a soon-to-be colleague from Brazil*yay* At least now I know where I'm more likely to live with regards to my future apartment ;)Will be catching up with Eugene and Patrick this coming week. Hopefully; I can squeeze in time for Haslina and Kathryn (I'm sorry, Kathryn! Let's try next week!loves loves =))

I think mum's been bitten by the travel bug. We're now heading to BALI. And next up might be Singapore. Heck..... as much as I love travelling, I just want to stay home in MALAYSIA (yes yes, I know I've been home for ages, for you guys Overseas and wanting to smack me) and enjoy the weekends at home sweet home. As in, literally, in the comforts of my own home; with my 3 sisters, dearest parents; pet hedgehog PORKY and pet doggie Johnny. Three more weekends before I fly off. And back to Canada. And the next home visit will likely and *cross fingers hopefully be APPROVED* during next year's CHINESE NEW YEAR for a glorious 2 weeks. Only 4 weeks allowed per year. So I chose to split them up half-half :)xoxo. Back to IMU to meet up with some old seniors! =)
