I remember thinking about buying a gift for you this time now that I'm working.I was looking forward to it. All excited to see you this Chinese New Year, after working as a full-fledged doctor. You'd be so proud of me :)It's 5am now, and you woke me up... *hehe*
For some reason, gong, you came into my dream this morning.
Just barely moments into waking up, with that happy satisfying thought, it dawned upon me that you were no longer here... and then, a tear came flowing...But, I realised you came to check up on me :)"I miss you. I miss your smile. And I still shed a tear every once in awhile. And even though it's different now, you're still here somehow,my heart won't let you go. I miss you " I hope you and grandma are doing great up there. And that all of us receive your blessings, especially the family over at home in Malaysia =)*hehe*You made me tear, gong... *heehee*But yes, I remember you- of course.I love you both, very much."Sue-Sue" in his deepest Hakka tone. *muacks*

Getting my Internet back- has transformed me into a lazy bum once again.Talking to family takes up 2 hours. That's the only good thing that comes out of my Internet usage. I should start neglecting Facebook.Gchat.Skype. Blogging. Hotmail. Youtube -.-'I love all my girlfriends. They're all a wonderful bunch.Just the other night, 2 hours was wasted on the phone catching up with two co-interns. Then, I got to catch up with my Malaysian girlfriend Zoe; at PotBelly's over a yummy Chicken salad salad dinner :)My senior from Cook County Hilda is another great friend who shares great chemistry; we have a really good time together! :) We bond over food talk and boys talk. *laughs*Today, I was supposed to meet up with other co-interns for a trip to the Botanic Gardens located in one of the suburbs. No one replied my email- so I was really disappointed. Then, this morning, Jacintha called me-to ask me what time we were leaving!! That was unexpected, but she said in the email, it sounded like it was already a sure-to-go plan. That was after Vijay called me up- so off we three went. The journey was ridiculously time-consuming as the traffic was insane. But the trip was so worthwhile. We had Chipotle for brunch; then hit the gardens for an hour- and it was beautiful! I cannot wait to compile all the photos we snapped! :)Then, Vijay was nice enough to offer to drive me to Target to get my hangers and my electric blanket :) I was so cold last night despite wearing a thick winter jumper and 2 blankets :( So yes, today was a pretty fulfilling day :)This morning, a new friend I met at a party was chatting with me. And I found it kind of annoying he started hitting up personal questions as if he knew me. Some people should know when to draw the line. I won't accommodate if you cross the line, but I will do it subtly. It's just unbelievable how you don't get the hints sometimes.Max and Hau Jia are hitting Chicago this week- hopefully, workload won't be heavy- then I can squish in time to see them :)
