Time passes us by and when we don't take notice of how we spend every moment we have, it's usually because work consumes us. And takes a huge chunk of our waking moments and our energy.Christine's almost done with CCU. And that means another month just flew by. Just when I'm having so much fun in emergency (despite the erratic hours; especially switching 180 degrees from late evening shifts to working early mornings) - it's time to pack up and move to another new rotation; awaiting with new challenges and opportunities.Next up-will be HIV/AIDS in our next door neighbor hospital where you'll have to wheel your patients to be scanned and draw their bloods. Carlos scared me last night with all his evil stories *laughs* That's going to be one heck of a rotation; Can you imagine me-driving and maneuvering a patient's bed to CAT scan? *I'll probably end up hitting everything that comes my way* -.-' and endangering the patient....... ;)I was really craving for some Chinese food for some reason; and so happen, Karl was at home last night- and starving :) so I got to get my pick! *yay* We went to Papa Jin; a really nice Chinese and Japanese restaurant nearby and the food was fantastic. Shrimp toast and chicken satay for appetizer and eggplant with garlic sauce - and honey dew bubble tea :) Needles to say, I was a satisfied girl by the end of the night. And Karl was a great housemate companion; after a long and tiring day at work :) I have had enough of munching on graham crackers with peanut butter and granola bars :(Tonight; I caught up with Christine - and we watched Julie and Julia. I couldn't help salivating at the sight of all that great dishes she whipped up. I was mmm..and yummming all the way; and I started imagining myself cooking and baking like her *laughs* It was definitely a feel-good movie; which was a surprise to me; because I had lower expectations :) Great night!Onto work on a Sunday morning tomorrow! xoxo
