Emotions raised via sms.Guilt: Mum "Why aren't you online? :(" unfortunately; this is highly effective with the sad face.Joy:A girlfriend "Hi love! Was just thinking about you today!"A cheeky co-intern "So how's your month going? ... is not so fun :( but I'll get thru it. It's weird not seeing you all the time anymore. I miss seeing ya girl!" Another girlfriend "Miss you!" Concern in friends - awww...-"Drink tea, Gatorade or water to avoid dehydration" - this is after knowing I consumed a little bit more alcohol than I usually do (even then, don't stress- I drink very little!)-"This is....Just making sure you're home safe. Text me back, hope you had a great night."followed by another sms: "Please get home. My security is paranoid!"and another one "Sorry about my security; it's just way too tight." *laughs-hahahahah*Christine "Why aren't you eating real food?" and another sms: " I want you to get out of bed and get real food." and another: "I don't know, I worry about you..." *lol* this friend is bossier than my mum!!! but I love her to bits!Touched:"I'm going to miss your bubbly personality a lot.Im sure everyone here will also. I read mum's skype messages and it tugs my heart.Mummy's so understanding and so loving. And I saw dad's round face on Skype last night :)So sweet; I always look forward to skyping with them-cos they make me feel so so loved. *laughs* and they make me feel like a young little girl all over again; fussing over me- although I'm not that small kid anymore. You never grow up in your parents eyes- ever ;)Mum was so cute. She wrote to me; "no matter what your family loves you and will back you up anytime" . AND "we will let you know your goodness and your weaknesses with no malice but love" =) awwww... Adversity was her key point. And it was sprinkled with lots of loving everywhere- in her 2 paragraph long message :)NYC was too short! But I met up with all the close ones!Crazy superShuttle driver. Jap ramen. Green tea ice cream. Fashion week ongoing. Long Island City. Agozar brunch with free -flowing sangrias and eggs benedict. Meet up with seniors in Lily O' Briens' chocolate cafe with hot chocolate and chocolate caramel truffle *mmm*. Han Chun's apartment in bryant Park with his collection of shot glasses. Conversations about work, commitment, wholesome balance. Dinner at malaysian LAUT with char kuey teow, roti telur, beef rendang, ikan pari, crab with man tau, kangkung belacan :) :) Tomy's with pina coladas and Johnny Walker and card games and Jap roe noodle *yum!* followed by lamb over rice at the famous 42nd E st I think!! :) Mmmm... then, Dim sum brunch at Oriental Unicorn *i think*- then, to high Live (the new park above the railroad) and Italian ice-cream; then a few hours of lying in central park followed by buying dinner from Burger joint and eating in the Le Meridien suite that hariz got for one night ;) with shakes from McD's and nuggets and apple pies *mmm*End of my NYC weekend! :) :)
