I have to say I had the best time in Dermatology clinic.I was surrounded by some of the greatest minds but more importantly, the greatest teachers around who were so dedicated and passionate in sharing their knowledge and experiences.They were a bundle of joy to work with, and they all had a wonderful sense of humor.I just finished my presentation and my evaluation with my staff and I am so blessed.He gave me an outstanding evaluation and said I was beyond my level and did better than most of the residents :) He said my knowledge was further ahead than most people, and I don't mean to be boasting but I never felt like I worked really hard- I guess it never felt like work to me, I really enjoyed myself.Plus I learned tonnes of fancy names :)Another bonus, was Pat from the IWK paediatrics dermatology clinic gave me a bagful of skin products for my trip home :) And so, I am going to happily give all those products a try :)Vik (Vikas Chaubey) my PGY3 resident gave me a big warm hug today because it was my last day in Derm. He invited me over to his place for lunch but unfortunately, I had to pass because I had my presentation to give, but otherwise, I would have loved to have his company. Vik has a heart of pure gold and it's been so good working with him. He's really a sweetheart, always ready with brotherly advice and guidance. He's one of the nicest guys to have around, thanks Vik :) I hope you achieve your *ahem* slimming success this Christmas and New year :) And have a wonderful happy happy wedding and time in Calgary :)Dr Green, Dr Tremaine, Dr Finlayson, Dr Murray and Dr Clotz- thank you all for inspiring me.With lots of love and deepest gratitude,Sueyi :)

"Hi, have you met Sue?""She's only 19! Can you believe it?"That's Vik, announcing to the whole world how old I am after he saw my ID. - We had oatmeal for lunch today as he's trying to lose 15 pounds for his upcoming wedding. I had all the Christmas pastries at this morning's Christmas show Grand Rounds whilst he chose to avoid it altogether, all the while ogling at my plate ;)- I like to cheekily challenge his resistance threshold (which I must say have been highly impressive) by swinging all the candies and rich, creamy chocolates from the Christmas goodie basket given by the Head of Medicine.- He buys me lunch and drives me home or walks with me. I bring him Red Date tea :)- He's damn cool, I like him. Other than him shaking me like a lil' kid and asking me to eat more to fatten up and other times, asking me to eat more healthily.
